I believe to this day that during our first 3 years (2000-2003), being naieve, idealistic and even a bit ignorant were positives-it helped us succeed. It didn't occur to me until much later that while we were "playing on the Internet", literally, there were companies...Corporations... hiring, firing and spending a lot of money trying to get the traffic and rankings that we had basically walked into...
